Micro-scanner
This procedure shows you how to operate the micro-scanner.
Loading Microfilms
- Get micro-form.
- Turn scanner on (right side).
- Loading up microfilm.
- Pull platform/glass toward you. Firm but gently.
- Put reel on left side pin.
- Run it under glass.
- Attached film on the reel at the right side of scanner.
- Push platform/glass back in. NOTE: See figure on left side of micro scanner.
Loading Up Microfiche/card
- Pull platform/glass toward you. Firm yet gently.
- Place fiche/card under glass.
- Push platform/glass back.
Turn Computer On
- Start the View Scan program. Icon is locate in the middle of the computer screen.
- Click anywhere on the image to zoom in or out.
- Use the tool to adjust as needed.
- Select section/page to print.
- When done remove microform and turn of both scanner and computer. NOTE: See instructions on wall above Micro-Scanner.
