The following are the procedures for processing multimedia, such as DVDs and VHS cassettes.

1. A spine label is created to be placed on the cassette containing the call number and title.
2. The barcode of connecting the video to the item record associated with the video should be placed at the space available to be seen through the plastic housing used with VHS cassettes.
3. Any cardboard housing is cut to fit inside a clear plastic housing for the cassette. The clear plastic housing is labeled with the call number associated with the video. This call number should be of Se-Lin varity and placed near the top of the spine of the plastic housing.
4. Completed tapes are checked by a supervisor in the same manner as books.
